Looks like you no longer have freedom of movement. Without committing any crime, you have had your ability to travel freely upon public property impaired. If you don't give up constitutionally guaranteed freedoms, you aren't able to obtain certification to drive a road-worthy vehicle.

This post proved to me I have no friggin clue how you're system works. The idea of voters registering for a particular party... What's to stop the next Hitler from gaining control and quietly killing everyone registered to the wrong party? Oh, I know. The corporations.

My government certainly isn't perfect. We also had almost a month between the polling booths closing and the winning party being sworn in. But this isn't actually a bad thing. It meant in the end everyone's vote truly did matter.

Because right or wrong, there are a large amount of people who wont play a computer game because its too "nerd like".

There are also those who refuse to shell out money for an entire console simply because it has a single game they want. There are also those unwilling to make the 30+ hour investment a game requires. There are also people (such as myself) who are unable to grasp the mechanics of modern gameplay and partake in such pleasures as Mass Effect (I struggle with combat that isn't turn based and/or menu driven).

But hey, don't let facts stop you from making a martyr of yourself simply because you play video games.

Why Video Game Movie Adaptations Need New Respect 283

An anonymous reader writes "Hollywood has yet to find any video game property it is willing to treat with the same respect as J.R.R. Tolkien or J.K.Rowling, arguably still following the principles that led to the appalling Super Mario Bros. movie in 1992: 'A game lacks the complexity that a movie requires.' Yet a modern gaming masterpiece such as Mass Effect has the depth and breadth to deserve better treatment in the proposed trilogy. Is Hollywood again going to disrespect fans who, in this case, have as much right to see a good plot respected as the readers of Lord Of The Rings? This article discusses why and how Hollywood should grow up regarding these adaptations."

There was actually a considerable amount of flooding in our ancient past, that the flood myth is quite clearly based off. No the entire world wasn't covered in water. No there weren't only two survivors along with many animals on a single boat. But the terror inspired by the rising water is quite clearly what inspired those myths.

Not at all. Simply dust the paper for fingerprints and check to see if they're in any government databases. You can privately vote mark your ballot however you want. TECHNICALLY the law doesn't say your vote must remain private. Otherwise they could arrest and charge people for making it public who they voted for.

The gym works perfectly. If you're prepared to continue that level of commitment for the rest of your life. Most people aren't. So for most people moderating your diet is more effective. Dieting however is not a good idea. Any change you make must be forever. If you can't handle doing it (or doing without) for the rest of your life, don't bother starting.
