ats-tech writes: On December 20th the Protocol Freedom Information Foundation (PFIF), a non-profit organization created by the Software Freedom Law Center, signed an agreement with Microsoft to receive the protocol documentation needed to fully interoperate with the Microsoft Windows workgroup server products and to make them available to Free Software projects such as Samba.

An anonymous reader writes: It is against our company policy for employees to use their home computers for business purposes. In the industry that we work, we find that certain types of employees are breaking this policy. Is there a way to legally retrieve company documents saved on the personal computer or require that the documents are deleted?
