Submission + - First Tower Built by Flying Robots Completed (npr.org)

An anonymous reader writes: Slashdot readers may remember the Flight Assembled Architecture project to construct the world's first tower built by flying robots. The project was recently successfully completed in a warehouse outside of Paris, where a series of robots built an undulating 20-foot-high structure made of 1,500 polystyrene bricks. This,” Raffaello D’Andrea, the robotocist in charge of the project told NPR, is the “first installation to be built by flying machines.”
