Comment I remeber a while back (Score 1) 7

I got hornswoggled into going to a pub with a couple English coworkers when England played Brazil (2002?).

It was an English pub in a fairly touristy part of town. It was frequented by a large number of Englishmen and was packed for the game. Two Brazilian fellows stopped by to watchy the game. They were quite pleased with the outcome. Their exuberance was manifest as they celebrated the victory surrounded by dozens of angry English. My English coworkers said they thought there was going to be a brawl.

We're pretty sure there are dimensions we cannot measure, some say 23 dimensions in all.

What are all these "other dimensions" I keep hearing about? To me, there's only one dimension worth anything, and that's the good ol' U. S. of A.

One small thing that really annoys the shit out of me is that when you loot something (body, animal, herb, whatever) you almost never face the same way when you come back up. I.e. if you are facing east when you go to skin an animal you won't be facing the same way when you are done.

I totally agree with this. After I've killed a pack of wolves or a dozen buffalo, I usually have there locations or at least the next one to skin mapped out according to my facing before I start skinning. Then I get done and I'm facing my horse. At least they put little x's on the radar so you know where the corpses are.

And now all I need to find and kill are an eagle, a duck and a seagull, then I'll have killed one of every animal available for slaughter.

As for the minor "Help me!" missions, my least favorite is the "They're about to hang my $relative", especially when it happens while I'm trying to get somewhere before quitting the game. They're usually well out of the way and I never could save anyone. I never remembered to use dead eye to shoot the rope. And now that I'm used to using that game mechanic no one is lynching anyone anymore.

I've spent more time wandering around killing rattlesnakes, rabbits, skunks, armadillos, coyotes, racoons, deer, birds, horses, and crows than doing missions.
