My old employer - one of the biggest insurance firms in the UK - has been running stuff like this for years. A little app on your smartphone that analyses your driving style for minor infractions and squeals back to the company so they can produce evidence for why your premiums have shot up...
And of course to get it working they tested it on... the call center staff. Seriously, any call center staff who had company insurance had to agree to this sh1t being installed on their mobiles to qualify for the staff discount during its testing phase. And the claims of anonymisation of data for the testing were proven to be BS the day the leaderboards of "Who's the safest drivers in XXX team" started going up to shame staff members who weren't good little boys and girls.

Well, I always wondered what would be the straw that broke 4chan's back - now we know.
4chan is as good as dead, just like Alt.Tasteless before it. Time for the hordes of trolls, sickos, wannabes and script kiddies to find another pit to infest. Wonder where it'll be?
So long 4chan. It's been fun but in time, all things pass.

IIRC Williams went on to sink as much of TSR's money as possible into buying up the rights for the Buck Rogers RPG ... which flopped and sunk without a trace, crippling TSR's finances. Rather than invest in it to turn its declining fortunes around as she was supposed to she effectively asset stripped it - her family owned the Buck Rogers franchise rights...
All in all a classic carpetbagger move by Williams that everyone except Gygax fell for.

Dear Microsoft,
We notice you have a sales arm in our gloroius country. Therefore your entire company is subject to our jusrisdiction and we demand you hand over data on any computer in the imperialist pig-dog USA that is running any of your operating systems. We have special interest in computers held by the NSA, CIA, FBI and such agencies and would appreciate if you handed those over first - preferably within 24 hours.
Yours sincerely, KGB.
