Frankly, with the way things are in this country, I hope it begins to pinch our wallets. It's the only way most Americans, from the corporate bigwigs to the politicians to the straphangers and soccer moms in the suburbs, ever take anything seriously. People need to wake up.

It's not the only way. It's the only way you can think of, but there is one other way, by being occupied - by external or internal forces. But of course you could still stay with your argument because that still hurts in the wallet.

Because of people like this. Or the person (or people) who thought it would be fun to put cats in a bag and beat them to death, or the guy who raped and killed an 11-month old.

For these reasons, and a whole host of others, these people have decided the basic rules of society do not apply to them. As a result they need to be removed. Keeping them alive does nothing except waste taxpayer money on people who will never be productive members of society.

We as a society make the rules, and we want to follow those rules for a reason. If we follow these people by using their rules, we lose. If we let somebody live who had no respect for life, we still follow our rules, the way we want it to be. If that means that we have to give in and not kill these people who did horrible things, that's a consequence we have to live with. Using tax money as a reason to justify the death penalty.... I won't even go there!

If I had a second Mac, I would be all over this. Unfortunately, my machine is my main work machine so I can't risk installing an OS that is in beta. Still, this is incredibly cool and will hopefully make their release OS software even more stable (more eyes catching problems while in beta and all that).

You can use another partition for the beta.

It's not about a better OpenSSL. It's about OpenBSD waving its penis around. That's all it is. The OpenSSL team is amenable to aid; but they have two developers and no help. OpenBSD is essentially holding OpenSSL hostage by making their own version, not contributing back, and making it OS-specific to OpenBSD unless you give them money to make it not.

FUD!

It's BSD! Source code will be available. No restrictions! How can they not give it back?

I'm a liberal (leftist, socialist, whatever. Farther left than the democrats for sure) and I'm pro-life. I have no interests in controlling women's reproductive lives, but as a Catholic I believe life begins at conception, and abortion is murder. Put any other false motives in my mouth, but the truth is, I'm pro-life because I'm anti-murder.

OK, that's possible of course! But preferably don't use "Pro Life", as it's not about abortion. It makes the Republican frame stronger, confirms their way of thinking. Use "anti abortion" or something else. Don't use their frames if you are serious about this. The frame as it is thought out is not about abortion.
