Like many officers?
Police cruisers already have cameras, and we're already seen cases where the camera is disabled by the officer because they don't think bureaucrats with no experience have the right to judge them. And that's not getting into the officers who disable them or "lose" the footage after the fact to cover up their own crimes.

I'm all for these body cams, but don't expect it to be received with open arms or to change behavior overnight.
I suspect if this passes there is going to be a spike in google searches for "how to secretly disable camera and make it looks like equipment failure".

The sooner the real thing goes through trials the better. Assuming it does lead to a legitimate test, that is.

I wonder if the homeopaths are going to twist this into a cure? Dilute UV light in water, instant all cancer cure.
At least it would be a step up from the usual bottled water they sell. This stuff would atleast be UV sanitized.

Which is a horrible thing to accept from a president, but apparently it worked.

It would not surprise me if that image comparing faces bush made to faces monkeys make was created by his PR team.

Yeah, you're right, a child's death by starvation and abuse is such a downer and should be forgotten as quickly as possible. That money would do much more good for the world if used to create more cute cat videos and pictures for the internet.

Not like any good ever comes of reminding people child abuse happens and kills. And even if it did, there's no way an interesting statue could possibly generate attention and remind people of the incident for decades to come.
