I've only blown once. It was after a 4 beer in 3.5 hour get together with friends... I wasn't drunk but could feel a bit of a buzz.. Nothing serious... Anyway, I blew .025.

They don't have to give the work to the world at large. They have offer to give the code to the people who are running the code. If some company hires me to build a widget for them to use in their fleet vehicles, then I need to give them the code (if they ask)... I don't have to publish it on the intarwebs.

Ask yourself this... How effective would such videos be if nobody saw them? If people didn't know they existed. Would they keep making them? So then it follows that the fewer people who see them, the better.

I have friends who buy a new car every 3 years. I drive my cars into the ground... Well, not quite. As soon as I feel it can no longer be relied upon to get me where I'm going, then I replace it, with something else pre-owned.

I place no stock in what my car says about my 'image' and I save money in fuel because my co-workers would rather take their cars than ride in mine.

because "The Internet". My wife doesn't care about internet ideals. She just wants to get her work done. There are lots of sites that she needs to do her work that require Flash... These are places that hired out their web-dev and don't have fulltime staff.. They're not going to hire someone to come and fix something that is apparently working. My wife's computer doesn't auto-update so I hear from her once a week to update her Flash plugin because it's "blocked" again by Safari.

Fucking irritating and I would probably quietly cheer if someone went on a shooting rampage at Adobe... Maybe we can get some radicalized individuals to do it for us...
