If the movies were enjoyable, I might, but they suck on their own terms as well as adaptations of a much beloved book.

The first one had its moments, but the second was jaw droppingly dull, and worst of all Jackson mutilated the escape from the Elf king's tunnels. They took the barrel rider scene and turned it into a video game.
I have no desire to sit through the third.
And what happens to the Chinese economy when US orders suddenly dry up.
China is in a position to do the US significant harm, but in the process utterly devastating its own economy.
Man of Steel sucked. Even the ponderous Superman Returns was better. Hell, Superman IV was better.
First off, it didn't automatically install, it just downloaded a tiny patch that probably takes more traffic to request the download than the download itself. The news around this is BS.
In order for automatic updates to be installed on their own, you have to enable automatic updates, like every other sane setup on the planet, by default.
The U.S. by the look of things. I think it'd be a bit heavy-handed to call it a proportional response though as Sony is a lot smaller than a country.
Physically perhaps but in terms of internet presence I would doubt it. As a non-American I'd think this was an entirely appropriate response if it were the US. It has the beauty of being non-violent, extremely humiliating and very effective at preventing them from engaging in further cyberattacks. This should send such a clear message that hopefully even their insane government can understand it. Indeed if anything it seems so well thought out and proportionate that it seems unlikely to be the US government given their previous record.
30 years was about right for the paleolithic. Neolithic though, our best guess is around 20.
Really? Since the neolithic was later than the paleolithic what did people do that dropped the life expectancy so much? I realize that the number is heavily skewed by a large infant mortality rate and that those surviving to adulthood lived a lot longer than the average but still to drop 10 years while technology was improving seems very strange - how robust is the data supporting this huge drop?
If you don't like it, pay for service and you won't get ads.
It's not complicated, many of us have been doing it for years. Apps for your Domain solved the advertising issue.
We could make him so fat he damages his own joints... Damn, he even beat us to that bit of parody.
I don't think NK is a satellite state in the usual sense of the word. China certainly shields NK, but its reasoning isn't always clear. NK does act as a major counterbalance to US interests (Japan, South Kore and Taiwan). At the same time, NK seems extremely suspicious of China and some believe that at least part of the reason for the latest purge was to cut out members of the regime with too close a ties to China.
So we should burn any movie script that dares insult some violent tyrant, lest they get upset? Should we also stop publishing reports on said tyrants? Just how much would you like the West to appease the likes of Kim Jong-Un?
I'm not comparing features, but penetration.
Likely Java. Microsoft and its astroturfers like to tell themselves faerie tales about how the big players are all bending to Redmonds, but it's just the same pathetic wishful thinking that had Redmondites insisting Unix was drying and everyone was moving to NT.
Oh bullshit. Java dwarfs
1 + 1 = 3, for large values of 1.
