It looks like Howard Dean, despite being #2 in terms of delegates so far, is about finished. To me, he seemed like the only person who hasn't lied or changed his position on an issue, and isn't a Washington insider. Unfortunately, the insiders will win this nomination and the election (whether it be Dubya/??? [Cheney is somewhat disliked for some reason(s), but will he be replaced?] or the Democratic candidates, probably Kerry/Edwards). Why does it have to be like this? I don't know. The last name brand PC I bought was a Compaq (model unknown) AMD Athlon 500. The hard drive crashed (died a loud, violent death) within a month of use, and I got rid of it (the entire system) within 6 months. This was back in 1998. Now, I'm getting a Dell notebook, Powershot A60 camera, and a 256MB compactflash card to go with it. The notebook is a Inspiron 5100, P4 2.6, 256MB, WinXP (to be replaced with either Mandrake or Suse Linux), CDRW/DVD combo, and 30GB hard drive. Not the latest and greatest, but it should work very well for my needs
