It's more interesting than anything else this week and it would make a cool DIY dev platform.

Along with IR and Visible light, unless you are pumping watts into a very small volume you're not going to boil your guts with wifi.
Most people have no idea that their browser can be used as a bot.
Between me and a few others my high school's internal network never ran faster than dialup and at least half of the computers mysteriously were converted to every version of linux that would run on that horrible hp/dell/compaq hardware.
Regardless of how "trolled" any one feels by this he gets an ad hit every time the user looses a round in the game. So do they pay him with a bucket of cash or just Apple store credit?
I've got the same problem, 10 years ago I had one device hooked right to the modem, now my basement looks like something out of The Matrix.
If the ads on a site are so obstructive or malicious that you want to block them then stop using that site. Blocking ads only encourages site operators to use more aggressive ad serving tactics and resorting to that kind of subsidized assault on the user is usually an indicator that the site doesn't have anything useful on it in the first place.
It would be interesting to find earth life on one of the solar system's icy moons. We have moon and Mars meteors falling to earth, what are the odds that a rock carrying hearty earth life made it out there?
How am I the only one who voted for Batman?
I'm glad some one else thought of this too.
Ads supply the money that runs the web. As much as Dice blows, they need to make money to keep the site up. With the readership they are hanging on to they need all the hits they can get.
More alarmingly, I just got a god damned auto playing overlay video ad.
This is not a security camera, this is a diagnostic tool, a high speed camera is the micrometer of video analysis, when you need to trouble shoot a high speed, complicated process this is the only way. This camera gives decent performance at an order of magnitude cheaper than all of it's competitors. Having a double digit resolution at 18,000fps sounds crappy but when you have a 3cm x 5cm area of interest it only takes a few more seconds of setup to make sure you get the data you need. High speed cameras are to security cameras what an oscilloscope is to a multi-meter, they are for completely different jobs.
If the video is on another service and not on YouTube it will appear as the top search result.
Just like my house can have as many rooms as I want as long as I build them all myself. "u-compile" software is not for mass markets. Yes anyone can do it with after a serious Google session but that is more work than the average person will do for any kind of software.
HOLY MACRO!
