Truthfully I have no excuse for being drunk that day. I should ban myself from posting on /. during such times.

Perhaps I should build and post a hardware interlock anti-post submitting breathalyzer to avoid such posts in the future... I bet it would at least make hack-a-day, if not prevent this all too known problem from happening. (At least the grammar check in the old office wouldn't have caught it!)

I wish I could claim I was not educated in the matter of the English language, but sadly I was. This was also not an isolated event, which makes it worse. Thanks to all who came to my defense, but I was in the wrong here!

Just another stupid American here, nothing to see, move along.

wait, 4,677 hours? how could that be? There were 181 days in the first 6 months of this year, that's only 4,344 hours.. there was more downtime on the system than days in it's operational life! (did someone /0 here?)

Outsourced, no thanks... I think I'd rather dig up a Univac I to do work on, at least it would be more reliable

Innovation in faster page loading never ceases to amaze me.. I mean back in the day, Netscape was lightning fast compared to other browsers, and if I dig up an old build of of navigator I find it unbearably slow compared to firefox, or other new browsers out, not to mention surprisingly unstable.
I am happy because this kind of thing is what spurs competition on and leaves us without stale old browsers, even though I am not a chrome user myself, the effects of it are already being felt and features added onto our browsers of preference. Go Google!

haha that reminds me of a media PC I had hooked to my 55" samsung crt bigscreen... the convergence boards in the TV blew every single year to the day in october, and the 2nd time around the tv repair guy blamed it on the media pc.... Still covered under our extended warranty though (One of the only extended warranties I will buy, as for a bigscreen tv they make sense) but as a result of that idiot I had to take my media PC off of it, and sure enough, one year later the convergence board still blew out sans PC.

I remember once leaving my NES on for a week straight trying to get to the end of the original super mario bros when I was a kid without using any warps, good times.
I'm glad however that the wii one is getting a multiplayer, and I look forward to the level designs, I may actually have to buy a wii now instead of just fixing them for friends!
