I bought it from Staples, but really it's not Google's responsibility to deal with the shortcomings in Asus hardware, I'm in the US so generally after 30 days the stores won't take back a broken device. Still hoping Asus stands by their product

It's a great tablet, but, the screen cracked when I pushed the power button and rendered the touchscreen inoperative, currently ASUS is telling me that any screen damage resulting from use is not covered under warranty.

Right youtube are happy to take the video down again if I spend money filing a court case against the infringing party. Which is what would happen if a single person submitted a counter claim against a major corporation's takedown.

The video used my name, and picture and implies that my research supports their creationist message.

I originally found out about this other video after Youtube's content identification system identified *my* video as infringing on *their* video and disabled revenue sharing, that took a month to sort out during which I was unable to monetize my work. (also, I suspect that this possible infringing status flagged my account and resulted in several of my other videos submitted during that period being denied monetization).

Anyway, yes, offended and it cost me a bit of revenue

Nah google is cool with this, if I take the other group to court then they'll remove the video. No point in suing google.

Yes, but that would cost money, and while I could probably get damages It would be practically impossible to collect on them.

Because until the US switches to Ranked Choice Voting only 2 parties can ever be competitive. and the 2 parties that are will have no incentive to change the system to let in 3rd parties.

(not to mention that the libertarians would probably shy away from RCV as being unconstitutional)

Anyone that's putting this much effort in will be aware of that and will be accounting for that in their scoring, topsy is driving this and they have a lot of spam experience.

I remember reading one news story where a property owner was saying he considered anyone coming onto his property to be a violation of his rights and might shoot someone from the power company if they tried to install a smart meter. I wish I could have asked him how the power company reads his meter right now?
