when you read TFA, it actually just sounds like he was screwing around and the child porn was more like "this'll get the dude in trouble" rather than "I have a private collection because i'm a pedo".

Either way, the dude was really stupid and deserves to get jail time for it.

It wasn't just stupidity. This dude was trying to ruin his neighbor's life and sent him to prison for death threats and child porn. I figure he deserves at least as much jail time as the neighbor would have gotten had the frameup not been uncovered.

I already had Braid and Osmos (cool game, though I gave up on some of the later levels), but I heard some very good things about Machinarium, which is why I picked up the bundle. Only paid $10 since it just had the one game I was interested in, and I don't feel bad about it.

The folding city in Inception looked cool. No one was surprised that they could get it to look cool. For that you'll still need to look at things like Avatar et cetera.

Actually the only special effect I was impressed by in Avatar was the way they did the 3D holograms in 3D.

Dr. House's statement you quoted is irrational. Arguing with an athiest about [God|Santa Claus|Homosexual Agenda|Flying Spaghetti Monster]'s existence is like a 16th century man arguing with a man blind from birth about the existence of color.

Absense of proof is not proof of absense.
