I've told other people that as a conservative, my take on many of the issues you listed is that someone who supports limited government should have no problems with allowing gay marriage, with treating pot just like alcohol. Of course then as far as the tea baggers go, I go off the deep end. I do support taxation, and not only taxation, but progressive taxes that look at more than income.

It could be worse, you could be trying to learn Constitutional law from the average elected official, especially the last few presidents.

I would say that in Colorado it would have to be under $10.50. You are likely asking where does this number come from, well it is quite simple. I've been repeatedly told that it disenfranchises people to require a State or Federal issue ID to vote, and in Colorado the ID card costs $10.50. So obviously that means phones to be used for payment they must be less than an ID card, otherwise it is discrimination.

And how many earned their college diplomas? After hearing radio interviews of Clinton Portis when he was playing for Denver, there is no way he managed to finish elementary without "help", let alone college. Don't get me wrong there are some players, maybe the majority who have earned their degrees, but there is a good amount who got special help.

I'm in my late 30's and I say we give him the Medal of Freedom and then hang him. He is both a hero and a traitor. He willingly and knowingly violated an oath he gave freely and definitely hurt international relations and likely cost American lives. At the same time he exposed a massive program that violates the public fundamental foundation of the United States.

Snowden committed civil disobedience. Which means he did break the law, but it was his moral duty to do so. He still needs to be held responsible for his actions.

Get an EdgeRouter Lite and a gig switch. I'm finding that the EdgeRouter is very powerful, very fast and being a Linux based appliance is extremely powerful. If you want you could also get one of the EdgeRouter's with more ports and skip the switch, but for me I went with a Lite and a NetGear M4100 12 port switch.

If he is going to pay somewhere around twice market rate, he is putting chains made of dollars around his employees. It is very likely that no one getting one of these big raises will be able to leave his company for other opportunities. This can also setup employees to have to endure abusive work conditions that don't violate the law but still are bad.

I'm not saying this is a bad move, but it may not be a purely good move for the employees.

You're confusing boiling point with temperature.

I'm sure there are Windows Administrators who would leave those ports open. Hopefully you have Network Administrators who know enough to block by default and require justification to open ports.

Scrutinize software updates and reduce the risk that the software will introduce additional risks. Utilize the sneaker net with some sort of portable media. Perform updates on air-gapped machines. Destroy portable media.

It is trivial to deal with a troll, detecting them is the hard part. Once you have an automated system to detect trolls, you have many options to handle their posts. Delete the post, hide the post, ban the account, and those are just the starters. Any 1st year CS student could write the code to take action against a troll.
