For radiation shielding, they suggest to use the "consumables", which probably means fuel, raw materials, equipment and water.

And left-overs, after a while, unless they have a way to reprocess astronaut output.

How can one possibly plagiarise oneself? Plagiarism is presenting the utterance of another as one's own.

Surely this is merely repetition. If he assigned away copyright to the first utterance, it could be copyright violation, and that is probably a felony offence.

Comment Tax (Score 1) 154

Copyright is not a right, it is a privilege.
Intellectual property is property. Tax it.
Rational copyright holders will willingly donate the property to pass irrevocably into the public domain when the tax burden exceeds expected future income.

And make the holders declare their ownership and pay the annual tax, lest they immediately lose the privilege irrevocably for non-payment.

Setting the tax rate might be difficult. Due to Hollywood accounting, probably it should be based on the first few year's gross.

This is too simple to happen.
