I see what you did there... very nice.

This is what I was thinking... Nerd Herd, Geek Squad... who would want that title for a job?
I never needed a geek card or a man card or anything like that, cuz I determine who I am. No one else gets to bestow or take things away from me, just like no body puts baby in the corner.
Escape the 90's man... the wire is just invisible...
In my job they expect 4 weeks notice for IS.
Gives plenty of time to transfer responsibilities. The guy I took over for spent 2 weeks going over everything he did (so I could add most of it to what I do as well...)
Then hung around for 2 weeks more doing documentation and taking laps to talk to people. He planned on a year of do whatever time, which from what I hear has turned into 4 years of it...and a pissed off wife.
My credit union does this... I had to go low security, because it couldn't be longer than something like 8 or 10 characters, and I think originally they told me I couldn't have special characters as well... Their argument was that you would be locked out long before you could try many passwords anyway, so it is moot.
I let him know my feelings because just before the whole new system for better security, I could use a 14+ character password with special characters and whatever else I wanted, now the more secure setup says my CU password is the shortest one I use... (I know this is only one part of the security, and I'm sure the backend is where the more important security updates happened)
So with this free upgrade... Will Hyper V still be included on the client side if we have it now or will we have to pay for it? Can't seem to find any answers on that...
ideally yes... the cloverleafs in the game are shot.
but the issue here is they go into the right lane a few exits early... so putting the exit before only work if there is only one exit for a long long long time, which isn't real lifeish.
I've sunk a bunch of time into it and gotten to 7 tiles so far, feels like a big city and a number of highway entrances, subways, trains etc... feels spacious and i don't have to destroy my early area to keep moving forwards...
But yea, there are some annoyances like the traffic backups here and there and finding ways that shouldn't be needed around them, but they aren't EA, they set the price lower and have been open about what they are doing. They've built up goodwill so I cut them a lot of slack. It's a good game and worth the time and money.
Now they start doing stuff like EA has over the years with madden exclusivity, the sim city stuff and everything else, then I won't even look at games they release.
I didn't know they were coming out with a different Europa Universalis, which is a game I enjoyed many years ago and totally forgot about...
I can work around em, but yea... when my trains all get piled up it is a problem...
and cars going to the right lane miles before their exit causing a backup with cars merging on is a problem too...
I wouldn't put it past Microsoft anymore with the idea of Windows everywhere... they put Office on Ipads, they could decide to do other things as well.
True, they did do some power upgrades and features, so a non conductive floor or stairs couldn't stop them. Dalek Sec was different than most and did turn a human into a dalek/human mutant as part of the final experiment... so they did try stuff out
modern Dr Who creatures are some scary stuff for kids though... Between the Daleks, Cybermen, Angels, the stuff in the library (can't think of their name), the moon spiders recently, and everything else, My kids have to wait till they are older, then I will go back and watch modern Dr Who with them. I don't want to deal with the nightmares just yet.
Daleks aren't machines though... Those are the cybermen.
A Dalek is a living being inside the armor.
not sure which would be better to meet, but I would pick the Dalek if I had the choice. Cybermen either upgrade you to a cyberman, or they delete you. There isn't middle ground, while ad Dalek doesn't ALWAYS destroy and kill, they will use people as leverage too.
it's so classified that you can't even use the number for it.
Had something similar trying to get support for why a government website wouldn't work for a user. We were supposed to trust a cert issued by a CA we couldn't reach to verify, and the person that called me back (because you can't call them) let me hear about it since i put the ip address of the server I was looking for assistance with in the request. It has no name, but that is apparently a security breach and had to be reported. How else are you gonna know what I am trying to get to?
It's not THAT much, I give at work when the blood center comes around, so they have me down as 35 donations since 2005, I know some of them were double reds, but even if all of them were one pint only, that's still only 16.5 liters, or a bit over 4 gallons.
given time it adds up quickly.
I will continue to keep magic jack, because that means i have a "landline" for kids and babysitters.
My kids are FAR too young for mobile phones, and i don't want to collect babysitter cell phone numbers. Magicjack fits the need and cheaply, so we won't be dropping them.
It is easier to write an incorrect program than understand a correct one.
