Submission + - Wheres my flying car?
Darkman, Walkin Dude writes: "The oft-asked question among slashdotters is, where is my flying car? Well that question has been answered by inventor Gilo Cardozo and British adventurer Neil Laughton with their flying dune buggy, which Mr Laughton plans to take on an expedition from London to Timbuktu, in a voyage reminiscent of the Victorian-era explorers.
With the help of a parachute and a giant fan-motor, Neil Laughton plans to soar over the Pyrenees near Andorra, before taking to the skies again to hop across the 14-km (nine-mile) Straits of Gibraltar. The team behind it calls the Skycar the world's first road legal biofuelled flying car."
