Actually no, the administration has already said this part of the law would sever a large part of the rest. Preexisting condition coverage for instance. If people aren't required to have insurance, companies can't be expected to cover those with preexisting conditions, because then no one would need to actually buy insurance until it was needed.
No reason. I have a RepRap style extruder head for my 3'x4' CNC router, a head that holds a Sharpie marker on the same co-axis as my router, a dremel for small work, and a 2.5HP Porter Cable router motor for bigger work.
I haven't done it yet, but have some parts that I will probably extrude, then switch to the dremel to drill some holes out to the proper size, and maybe to mill a few surfaces smooth (printed parts have a stringy/webbed texture).

The feature you are referring to is "slide-lock". Most modern semi-automatic pistols have it with the exception of some smaller "pocket" pistols. Some guns will release the slide and put a new round into battery automatically when the next magazine is inserted, and some require the slide release to be flipped to release it.
