I'm glad to see it. A few years back the NHL started introducing "special effects" like creating a sort of "halo" around the puck to easily spot it behind the boards or the red trail when the puck broke a certain speed. I suppose if they didn't change with the times they'd still play without helmets and have chain-link instead of Plexiglas...

The IT section is buttugly. It hurts me eyes. Not enough contrast (the ...light yellow blends in with the white) seems to be part of the problem.

I like avoid links that have it.slashdot.org in them now.

That is all. This is nothing new. It's just finally started pissing me off enough to post about it.

Slashdot checks to see if you are using an open proxy when you try to post, and I fooled it into thinking I was running an open proxy (without knowing what I was doing at the time).
