I hope that as well as checking that the code implements some known encryption algorithm properly, that they also confirm that the algorithm itself is mathematically unadulterated (by the NSA or whoever).

When I worked in Bavaria some years ago I was told yes you can drive at 100+mph but if you have an accident it could financially ruin your life as at that speed its out of your pocket.

Nobody is stopping you doing your hobby.

What they are stopping is companies that abuse employees by having an employment contract and pay rate for a nominal 40 hour week, but then they punish those that stick to the contract by not working more hours for free.

What they are also correcting is the mass brainwashing of the middle classes that working for free and 60+ hour weeks is somehow something to be admired/looked up to.

Well see that's the thing about a bitcoin wallet with a few million in... Its VERY easy to hide then when the shit has died down, later recover it and untraceably sell the bitcoins.

The only thing the cops would have to go on would be after the suspect starts selling them, by watching any bank account they have access to and how it suddenly got a bunch of dollars credited to it. I'm sure there are plenty of ways around that if the suspect was even slightly clever about it. (offshore companies/anonymous bank accounts etc). Even just doing a few bucks every now and then rather than an high visibility giant transfer might be enough.

No thanks Tesla, the NSA is bad enough, I don't also need a car that is constantly telling you what I'm doing... and BTW it is also OK for me to do what I want with my own damn property.

This from the article:

We should also note that apparently Tesla engineers detected this hacking or exploring and sent a nastygram to the cars owner, âoeTesla USA engineers have seen a tentative of hacking on my car.â, âoecan be related to industrial espionage and advised me to stop investigation, to not void the warrantyâ. Does Tesla have an network intrusion detection system installed on the cars? Do they have the right to not allow you to tinker with your own car?

Incorrect. Whether some groups of people are more or less likely to have the desire to marry someone of the same gender is irrelevant to an equality argument. The point is, there actually is equality currently because the existing law applies equally to everyone.

>> my argument is that everyone should be treated equal.

You should be happy then as they already are:
Regardless of your colour, gender, sexuality or race, you can't legally register as being married to someone of the same sex unless you live in a state that has already legally recognised same-sex marriage.
