Submission + - Apache Shale Retirement

Kyle Hamilton writes: "Announcing that the Apache Shale committers have voted to retire the project due to inactivity. Shale is a web application framework, fundamentally based on JavaServer Faces. The Shale Test code has been forked into the Apache MyFaces project and list discussion highlighted MyFaces and JBoss Seam as successor projects. Retiring a project is not as simple as turning everything off, as existing users need to both know that the project is retiring and retain access to the necessary information for their own development efforts. You can read more about Shale's retirement at: http://attic.apache.org/projects/shale.html In particular we recommend Kito Mann's excellent blog entry on the subject: http://blogs.jsfcentral.com/editorsdesk/entry/shale_in_the_attic"
