Journal Journal: Compaq Portable III "Luggy"

I have started this journal to document how I have modified my Compaq Portable III [aptly named "Luggy"] to do things beyond everyone's expectations.
The Portable III is an 80286/8 MHz [12 MHz turbo, jumper inside back cover] with 640 kiloBytes of RAM, a 40 MegaByte HDD [yes, the 40 MB version, not the 20 MB ver], a 5.25" HD floppy drive [oooh 1.2 MB more] which I have set running DOS 6.22 with Windows *3.0* installed (and working), and of course, a 'Orange and Darker Orange monochromatic display [which oddly enough uses a CGA (Color Graphics Adapter) -- I guess orange really is a color].
The things I have already accomplished doing to it:
[If I say that i have added/installed something, that includes getting it to work]
Adding a Soundcard
Adding a CD-ROM Drive
Adding a Network card
Adding a Barcode Scanner ...and...
Installing a GRAPHICAL web browser [no lynx anymore].
Once I have the time, I will take pictures and post them on my website at http://www.tonsofpcs.com/
