They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but there is a finite number of social networking or selling websites that the world needs. Here is a collection of the eight kinds of websites that absolutely don't need to be made anymore. I'd add dating sites and anybody who uses pop-up ads myself, but I think that would eliminate half the Web.

Google Launches a Data Prediction API 70

databuff writes "Google has released a data prediction API. The service helps users leverage historical data to make predictions that can guide real-time decisions. According to Google, the API can be used for prediction tasks ranging from product recommendations to churn analysis (predicting which customers are likely to switch to another provider). The API involves three simple steps: upload the data, train the model, then generate predictions. The API is currently available on an invitation-only basis." Google also recently announced several other API additions, including Buzz, Fonts, and Storage.

ahh, the good old war power excuses. rtfa, he has already gone way right, and if i were american, i would probably annul my vote (can you do this in the us?) while i totally side with the argument that fdr is this big liberal scare, and the yankees have to be kept in check lest the government be allowed to treat us as pawns, as far as defying the constitution, i think the ffs are spinning in their graves over the abominations committed by clinton and the bushes way more than the possible harm that obama might do
