Since she announced it the Guardian has respected Chelsea Manning's wishes to be referred to by her new forename: the cited article seems to have slipped through the net !
(The Slashdot summary sits on the fence by quietly dropping her old forename from it's quote of the linked article !)

Your plan-to-thwart contains a potential bug.
If, say, the US and Chinese economies continue for the next 25 years on their current trajectories it is quite possible that the "low-wage programmer" you speak of will live in the US, and hence the GP may get your contract !

(Anglo-German family in central Germany.) I am not sure they *have* to buy a proportion, but the do buy all the electricity we can produce from our community solar project on the apartment building roof, and they pay over the odds for it (it is better for us to sell to the grid and buy it "back" through a green tariff then to wire it directly into our homes !)
