If you decide to be a veggie, make sure that you take many vitamin supplements.
Not really. The misconception that you need meat to get all of your vitamins and nutrients is quite off. Everything you need can be found from non-animal sources. It just requires one to eat more than lettuce and tofu. I have a vegan friend that takes no supplements and is healthier than most anyone else I know. She also doesn't harp on meat-eaters and even cooks non-flesh products for others occasionally.
Do you want to call an evolution-controlling, star-forming monolith late? Because they'll turn you into primordial soup faster than you can say "Arthur C. Clarke was right!"
Umm... Yes. Why treat DNS any different than real estate? It is a digital form of real estate. If someone wants to buy land at an exorbitant price and not bother to check if it's even what they want, why is it the fault of the system? GoDaddy is being shady, sure, but it's not some kind of fundamental flaw because we let people commercialize domain registration.
On a PC, you hold down a function key during boot and you'll get a boot list. One step more than a Mac, but negligible in difference. No fiddling with anything in either case, unless you count selecting from a list as fiddling.
You can boot off USB with a PC. That's how I installed Vista and Win7. And several flavors of Linux. It's a very well supported feature on just about any motherboard that's under 6 years old, I would say.
About Apple creating their hardware... They don't. All of their parts are pretty much normal hardware. Intel CPUs with Intel chipsets using normal RAM and hard drives. The case is about the only thing they probably design themselves, and even that is probably produced somewhere else. iPhones? Foxconn. Though that may be changing soon... A4 CPUs? I don't think Apple has a CPU fab quite yet.
Actually, $300 right now would make a huge difference in my life. I have a few debts from when I was unemployed and $300 would make the difference between always worrying about overdrafts and just being broke.
Except they likely have two separate teams for multiplayer and singleplayer development. Throwing more people at one aspect doesn't necessarily mean it will be any better. And if they need more people, they can hire them. It's Blizzard we're talking about. They probably have the resumes of all the top people in any given game development field and it wouldn't take much effort to get them to come in for an interview.
