Yeah, these are some of the same scientist that in the 70's predicted a mini ice age. Some of the same people that say eat oat bran, don't eat oat bran, eat fish oil, don't eat fish oil. It's all agenda driven. You look at the places having "wild fires" (we use to call them brush or forest fires), a LOT of the people having problems, are in areas that were either desserts, waste lands, or areas that always had this problem, and since "we've" moved in, planted a lot of vegetation, or areas where "naturalist" won't let them clean the underbrush out, they have problems with fires! Go figure! Also, didn't I read where someone started one of these out in California recently? How did man made global warming cause that?

Too bad you can't peel off the stickers like I did to annoy friends of mine back in the early 80's that would never put those things down. Was fun to watch them try to figure out why they could never match the sides when two stickers were in the wrong spot.

Same thing, for the most part, in the USA with the welfare system. Since the 60's the percentage of people called "the poor" on welfare has INCREASED, not decreased. People have become fat, dumb, lazy because why should they do better by themselves, when someone else will give them something. Now, in the case of Africa, you have that, along with multiple corrupt governments. Not to make light of the fact that some people in Africa live in a DESSERT, but a comedian once said you know what you get when you plant a seed in sand? NOTHING, move where there is DIRT to grow something.

Map makers have messed up the world for years. Most maps distort the actual size of the continents. All anyone would have to remember is the old "Asia, AFRICA, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, Australia. Africa ranks behind Asia for a reason...but years of kids looking at maps, they most of the time show North America larger than Africa. that photo you posted, puts it in realistic perspective.

I would have loved to have one of her nanoseconds she use to hand out when asked how long was a nanosecond. I remember when she was on the tonight show with Johnny Carson and told that story. She use to keep a bag full of them with her all the time and would hand them out, when someone would ask how long is a nanosecond. One smart lady!

You won't change most of their minds....they've had over 20 years of indoctrination in government schools, colleges & universities, not to mention the bias in the media.

I volunteered as a 911 operator, for a sheriff's department (county population around 400,000) for over a dozen years. When cell phones started to take off in the 90's, it was quite COMMON to know that something was going on when the phones lit up pretty much at the same time. Also, with the stupidity of the average U.S. citizen, they would call for some of the dumbest things, that were never an emergency. I remember once, I already had fire & ambulance ON SCENE of a 2 car injury crash on an interstate highway. In other words WE WERE ALREADY THERE, and the phone rang and some idiot called to tell us about the wreck we had ALREADY arrived on, 10-20 minutes earlier. Now, give everyone the ability to text to 911, and they will have to send the bulk of dispatchers to school, to learn how to type "in text talk". With young adults & kids speaking "in text" most dispatchers will have to be trained again LOL.

EXACTLY! The "cloud" could disappear one day, or they could hold your data hostage for whatever reason. My data, my servers...PERIOD!
