Comment If all of life is commerce (Score 1) 5

If all of life is commerce, then the government feels cozy regulating your whole life.
Time to vote out these Godless Commie Sodomites and bring in some proper Americans (which idea, of course, is a philosophical concept, and has precisely 0 ethnic, religious, or sexual content, for all the liars will attempt to claim otherwise. Liars gonna lie, amIright?).

I'm saying that if the law goes where it should not (http://www.heritage.org/research/reports/2014/05/the-extent-of-americas-overcriminalization-problem) these kinds of blowback are to be expected. It's more of a problem of degree than kind. There is always going to be That Guy, of the "They's some men you just cain't reach" ilk: I get that. You'll never eliminate that smidgen. However, the other 98% of us rational, consenting adults should substantially agree on a minimal set of governing principles, and operate there.
Right now we're in this gridlock position where half the people who want the country to be an entitlement plantation are getting blowback from the other half who're no' so keen on this.
