The Daily Mail writes to report that thousands of rubber ducks who have traveled the seas of the world since 1992 are about to end their journey. After escaping out of a container fallen off a Chinese freight ship in a storm, scientists have followed them which turned out to be an invaluable source of information for studying ocean currents. Now it seems inevitable though that they will finally land on the shores of South-West England. Expect to see high bids on E-Bay soon, and beware of phoney ones!"

I'm 30, Lutheran, and self-employed. I mostly develop web apps using PHP and MySQL or Postgresql, but I've been known to use Perl, C, C++, and a variety of other languages. I live near Asheville, NC, and I love it. I'm a Mac user, but only because of the BSD-ness of it, since I was a Linux user first (and most importantly, never a willing Windows user).
I like to read fiction, especially F. Scott Fitzgerald. I think Ernest Hemingway writes incoherent BS that reflects the drunken idiot that he was.
