I wish someone would make a companion 3d printer product that will recycle plastics into the plastic used to print things with some of these 3d printers. If you could turn most any plastic into a strong plastic ink source, then the cost of owning one of these printers goes down and gives people a reason to recycle with a fast gratification of making stuff.

After the smoking bans at bars and restaurants went into effect in Nantucket several bars built "outside" smoking areas that have roofs, no heating, and enough gaps in the walls to be considered outside. I am surprised more places have not done this. And, as a non-smoker, I see this workable win for both sides.

Growing up, I always wanted a voice jammer for family parrots when they decided they wanted to screech. I, also, wanted one to use on my sister when she annoyed me. These days, I would love one to use against people being rude and too loud talking on their cells while in shops and while watching a film in a theatre.

I agree no ribbon please. Instead, how about being able to print to a printer on 8.5x11 paper without causing the Ricoh printer at my work to think it is a improper paper size (despite all the settings claiming it is: with double checking printer and page-layout settings). At least I can export it to a pdf and print the pdf with any pdf viewer with no problem (I don't even have to tweak the page scaling for it to print properly so it must be some OO.o & LibbreOffice bug) just wish I did not have to do these extra steps for myself, and teach co-workers the work arounds.
