This was 1991 I belive. I was sitting on this tire swing looking at the thunder storm coming into the valley over the city. Next to me 30 feet infront and 20 to the side was a tennis court all fenced off with a 20 foot fence.

As I was sitting there for a bit watching lightning strikes all of a sudden everything went white for a second and when it dissapeared I heard a huge bang and while looking at the sand below my feet, I saw electricity flying around on the ground. Took me a few secs to get orientged again and all I herd was "Holly Fuck", "Holly fuck" "Did you feel that all over your body" from the two guys that were playing in the tennis court.

Nex thing I know some panic attack hit me and I booted it home about 20 feet away. I started to get a clod sweat and when I felt my heart it must have been going 400 + beats per minute. Then it slowed down rapidly and all I could do is sit on the couch and go WTF?!!!

So for about a few weeks after that everytime there was a thunder strom and the lightning strikes got close to home I always felt wird electric charge aroung me. Well I never stuck around and booted it home the second I got the feeling.

Can't say it changed me but was a weird experience.

I just want a good tough phone with nothing except for the phone and minimal software for the phone to function installed. Nothing else. If I want to install a browser, cal, etc.. then I 'd do it after wards

What Canadian culture? I am Canadian culture, my friends are Canadian culture, a big chunk of the Canadian population being immigrants are Canadian culture. Maybe they should make more Native shows/programming to teach some Canadian culture.

90% of things we buy is made somewhere else but Canada. How about penalizing clothing manufacturers unless they make certain amount of clothing in Canada with a Canadian theme.

Singing up for Hulu worked fine for me using a US zip code and my Canadian cc. Although I don`t have Hulu anymore I used it for a VPN for over a year.

I could care less to support Canadian made content that I could care less to watch. Funny how this pops up just when Shaw and Rogers are releasing their version of Netflix. Netflix should just pull out but allow people to buy and look the other way. I`d rather pay for a VPN to access than to let the gov clamp down on emerging technology and markets.

No, I own the shop but since I use the car mostly for work the company pays the gas. Basically I get paid $300 less which means less income tax from me and for the company to fork over each month.

Atm I drive to and from work 100-150KM depending if I have to pick up stuff for my shop. I pay $265 for my Yaris and I give myself $300 in gas which is paid by the shop. At this rate I'd just sell the Yaris, put the money into the Tesla and have work use the gas money towards the Tesla and the payments I'm already making on the Yaris. No more fill ups and save $0.15/L+ in gas tax untill the gov surcharges me for the use of a electric vehicles. There's the cost of electricity but that should be no where near what gas is.
