There are alpha (and maybe beta) versions of XBMC for Android as well. I'm not sure if they run on this MK802 II or not, but I'm sure that's coming.

If the Facebook team is using pair programming for their mobile apps (on all platforms!), maybe they should try something more traditional because it's not working! They have so many bugs and glitches in the IOS, Android (tablet), and Blackberry apps that they definitely need to try a new approach! Maybe if they TESTED them before releasing, they'd have better results?

I'm a DirecTV subscriber, and I honestly never even noticed that I lost some channels. Must not have been anything important. I'm happy for them to lost those ones, and reduce my bill, but I'm sure that would never happen.

On the other hand, if someone malicious were to get physical access to the network, it may be a different situation.

I work for a company that does networking for many railroads, and on every project that we've done the entire train control network is isolated from the rest of the world. That's one of our basic rules, it should never touch the internet. I can't speak for our competitors, but it seems like they would do the same.

While you're right not to trust this, the website says his DNS server does NOT allow you to connect out to any other sites. It only allows in-app purchases, and you must restore the configuration to use your old DNS server before you can do anything else. I'm not sure what dangers there are from the certificates that he has you install however.

While most people here seem to be ripping you for enjoying your constitutional right to bear arms, I would like to say that I agree with you. I typically have 3 forms of photo ID on me (was 4 until I got out of the Army). I have my Driver's License, Concealed Carry Permit, and my work badge. While I don't always carry a concealed weapon, I like to know that I'm legally covered if I choose to do so. I also prefer to keep a hand gun in my truck.

I work for a competitor of Alcatel and Siemens in the rail industry, and we are migrating some of our bigger customers off of VAXes.. We have been for 10+ years now, and the migration is nearing completion I believe. I don't specifically work with those projects, but for a time I was in charge of administrating a number of linux systems running VAX emulation software.. We used it primarily because we ran out of physical VAXes to use, and decided to stop buying them off of ebay (it's the only place you can get VAX parts now). I still have a drawer full of OpenVMS and Multinet licenses.
