If you're "invested in stocks" then you are going to take a beating in the next crash. It's the guy who is NOT invested in stocks and gets invested near or at the bottom who gets rich. And of course the rich guy who has cash in reserve who will take a beating on his stock portfolio during the crash, well he's the guy who cashes out his bonds at a premium when everyone moves out of stocks and into the "safety" of bonds, takes the cash, and buys stock at ten cents on the dollar. Rinse, repeat. Always do the opposite of everyone else.

Don't worry morphine is not temperature stable and will break down at bread-baking temperatures. But seriously, don't make bread with it. If you're worried about contamination of regular yeast, however, then remember only a really really small part of your yeast will not be wild-type. Unless you went out of your way to select for the genetically engineered yeast in your sample, you're getting plain old yeast (with maybe a trace of genetically engineered yeast after many years of this strain being commonly available). There's no reason to think that fermenting to morphine provides any evolutionary benefit to yeast versus fermenting to ethanol. So you won't be overdosing on opioid bread just yet.

Crashes are part of the cycle. Crashes are survivable. In fact, crashes are the absolute best opportunities for wise people. If you're smart, you are always in a position to take advantage of the next crash which is the only time you can buy stocks at near what they are actually worth. If you're not so smart, you're all in at the top and the ride down is one margin call after another. Most people are not so smart, so they're afraid of crashes.

Seriously, avoid nurses. It might make for fine sexual tension on medical shows but if you want your life at the hospital to become a living hell, get involved with a nurse. They are valued team members (most of them) and indispensable (most of them) and you never poo where you eat. The hospital is no place for shenanigans, our patients deserve better.
