I know the old joke about the economist who finds a twenty dollar bill. But the things is, if what OP wants was possible, wouldn't someone have implemented it by now? I'm guessing the people who actually develop/maintain the software might know something about it.

We all know that bosses are idiots, but there might well be a good reason for doing it sequentially. If the station operates 24x7, they might not want more than one pump down at a time. Also, the first one acts as a trial run; you never know if the update clashes with a F0084R-D card reader when it works fine with the A and C models.

OP: do the procedures say that you should verify before moving on to the next? If so that could be the reason.
