Why not build a weapons platform from Lego's.

How can we not be surprised when off the shelf tech used as military attack machines are compromised. We must be still the most stupid intelligent race in the universe. When will we learn ?

As soon as you need a program not on a desktop shortcut or a built in windows app you rarely use like MSpaint or Notepad. Where do you go, Start Menu.

This is stupidity at its best.

A decade of culture tossed out the window leaving life long customer woundering what to do when looking for a program.

That is because the whole base of current OS's are not engineered from the ground up to work as a rock solid foundation.

Its past time the software we run is built on a solid foundation. Windows / Linux / OS X all compete on unstable bases. Backwards compatibility has its down side.

Sure there will be bugs. But it does not need to be so rampant.
