Have you tried Nimbuzz, it's European. It supported, ICQ, MSN, Skype, Facebook, GTALK(Jabber), IRC, (Love to see SIP support) and offered outgoing calls. It was pretty amazing, then the other players attacked it.

Still good, works Windows, Linux, and is available for Android (probably iPhone). Hope it works out for everyone.

It's sadly not open source ATMM.

Like spying on foreign governments? Germany doesn't even have an army!

The article came out today and it's passe?

People are pissed because they realize that if there are no terrorist attacks, the budget will go up and surveillance will get worse and if there are the same thing will happen. They're absolutely pissed that these guys are selling anti-tiger rocks in South America, with their tax money which makes them complicit and then going out and pissing off the rest of the world.

We're nowhere near a solution. So it's relevant and good to talk about and important, and you're boring.

Perhaps some kind of retractable hooks or spears? (webs would be AWESOME)... replace the wheels? Just have it haul itself around through the spires?

Bad news, banks and government attacking at same time interfered with each other.

Also, they had this guy, he sold drugs... lots of drugs... but did they bust him? Nope, they did an elaborate sting to bag him for something REALLY REALLY evil... (I hate drugs btw) Why? So he wouldn't be a martyr for free wealth exchange.

Also the whole BTC aren't totally anonymous thing is a good to know.

Android phones aren't much different from iPhone except you can go outside the walled garden, which means you developers will be able to sell their apps even if they compete with "official" offerings. You can disable updates. Etc.

Android with AOSP is WONDERFUL, with it broken... I'm waiting for the Ubuntu phone.

"investment, consumption"... can you list a company valued in the billions or trillions of dollars (other than google) that you actually like? Considering the value of those companies comes from investment (usually by the old through banks and brokers) is it really a good thing?

In the olden days rich people used to sit in the garden on weekends and people from the surrounding area would bring them business ideas and investments. Then people started hating the rich and they hid away behind banks and investors... they don't get the same return on investment and don't get to know the people they invest in.

A bit like how censors implemented copyright and now there is very little patronage, which was a lousy system in most ways but a heck of a lot of classical and opera (unchanged mediums) was made under that system. Significantly more than has been made under copyright.
