I would think that something like a moon hab or station would be perfect for crowd funding.
I think that space is one thing that tons of people are willing to spend money on. I would be willing to put up a few hundred bucks, even if I get nothing in return. So long as the idea is realistic and gets us going in the right direction.
Maybe I will never be able to go into space. At my age, it is likely I won't, but I can at least dream that my kids will go.

Do yourself a favor, list to it on audiobook. It is narrated by R. C. Bray. who does a fantastic job. It was one of the few times where the I found audiobook more entertaining than when I read it.

I had one buddy who was ticketed for driving his quad on his neighborhood's private road by a US Forest service agent on Patrol from the adjacent land.
The local judge was going to though the ticket out since you normally cannot get a ticket on your own property. That was until he noticed the ticket came from the forest service.
The judge told him plainly, "sorry son, even we don't F with them. Just pay the ticket and let this go. Just be glad they only gave you a ticket and didn't take your home".

True, but at least it could be transported on a flatbed trailer, rather than an expensive tank truck.

Folks in the US seem to have a hard time believing and/or seeing what is going on. It is social engineering 101. You are being taught several things. First and foremost, do not question authority.
They are also trying to teach fear the punishment for any thought of violence. They are even being to teach people to fear the consequences of speaking out against their leaders.

I travel all over Europe and Asian as part of job and for personal reasons and I have learned one thing..NEVER take unofficial taxis. EVER.
