ekes writes: "According to the German Press Agency (DPA) Dutch police have arrested a teenager and are questioning four more about the "theft" of "virtual furniture" from the online Habbo Hotel http://www.habbo.com/hotel
A police spokesman said the suspects will be charged on two accounts: hacking and burglary.

mrbill submitted linkage to a site offering to sell what appear to be very beautiful wood PC cases combining wood, glass and silicon into something a hell of a lot prettier than that beige box. Something tells me these wouldn't win the recent Intel sexy case contest, but they sure are sharp.

Vista Runs Hot on Macbook Pro 214

It's not a rigorous benchmarking, but he does notice a few issues relating to power consumption: 'Since installing Vista, I have found that my MacBook Pro runs hot. No doubt Microsoft hasn't worked on power management issues that might affect Apple hardware, which leaves me to wonder whether I'm slowly cooking the motherboard of my laptop. It's not hot enough to fry an egg on the aluminum case, but my laptop is noticeably warmer than when I use Mac OS X. I've also noticed that battery life is substantially reduced. Once again, energy management for Apple hardware is not likely at the top of Microsoft's list. Once Apple writes updated drivers to work with Vista, I'd expect these issues to be addressed.'"

Bombed a Discrete Math test today. Ooops. Thats probably why im changing my major from computer science to Business Management with a minor in CS. I spoke with my advisor today he removed my registration block and even pointed out that many were moving away from the CS major.

I hope business will be right up my alley.

Borrowed 120 (actually 240) bucks from Renegade, this guy is the coolest person in the world now. The server and I thank you profusely! Hope to get you back in the future!

Other than that, Ive been having fun doing absolutely nothing but playing counter strike.

Damn got 2 papers to write, see ya!

Dropped my CS class and added a cake advanced html 404 class and a yoga class yesterday.

Im up to 19 credits this semester... Weee :(
hopefully those 4 credits will help out on the load and the yoga might do me some good.

Need to get a paper written by 2pm so im out.

Im back in school! Oh wait, I forgot, CLASS BLOWS!
Break was fun, got some play and partied with my hometown homies. Cant wait till summer, this rain and freezing wind bullshit its cramping my bubble of happiness.
