You may be 38 years old, as I happen to be, and one day, some great opportunity stands before you and calls upon you to stand for some great principle, some great issue, some great cause. And you refuse to do it because you are afraid.

Burgett's filmed interview is currently leading a CNN contest among videos of "ordinary people" whom CNN considers every day heroes, narrowly edging out the video of a man who is saving gorillas from extinction. In his CNN interview, Burgett points out that the people working for him are also recovering drug addicts or recovering mental illness patients."
