One possible solution that I can think of, if you want to keep your privacy, is to wear a mask. Security should not have a problem with that, right?

Another fun trick was to take a $1 and a $20 and cut them both in half. Then tape half of the $1 and the $20 to make two $21 dollar bills. Silly I know, but if you put them in a change machine, it would look for the numbers in the corners, it would read a 20 then a 1 and then give you $21 in change. You then took the other part and got $21 in change as well. Quick way to double your money. Now the machines check to make sure that all four numbers on the corners match up.

What about just advertising the brand? If IP = US ad for McDonald's new heart attack burger. If IP != US, then just a general ad for McDonalds.

Or you can advertise products that people would never buy. For example, on CNN I see ads for Boeing all the time. I am not in the market for a new 787, and I bet that 99.9999996% of the viewers are not as well.

When I found out that my brother had cancer, one of the first things that I did was talk to my dad about getting account info for his email and MySpace page. Matt never moved over to Facebook. When he died, we were able to send a message to his friends, and let people know what happened. A friend of his set up a FaceBook group to remember him. It has been a huge help to read stories and good thoughts from the people who knew him. I am glad that FaceBook is doing this.

People make money from what they read in WSJ. It is more then just informational news, it is money making informational news. It is why they can charge for it. A lot of the information can't be found in other sources.

Detailed stories about how a company is doing = worth paying for.
Detailed stores about the latest hoax or car chase = not worth paying for.

You hear that other newspapers wanting to charge for information? If it will not make a person money, or is easily accessed from other sources, people will not pay for it, other then having ads placed on the page.

How are you liking that 40 hour work week?
How about Maternity Leave?
What about the ability to take sick time when your kids is sick?

Unions fought for every one of these things and more. Unions make things better for working people.

I am not, nor have ever been part of a union. I just like the idea of democracy in the work place.

Unions are a democracy.
Business are a dictatorship.

When a union tells its members, "You should do X," you can work on changing the direction of the Union by voting in new leadership, or run for a position yourself.

When a business tells its employees, "You should do X," you can quit.

I noticed a pattern here with Congress.

Step One. Propose a law that would hurt an industry.
Step Two. Receive large campaign donations to stop that law.
Step Three. ???
Step Four. Re-election!

You say "Tax" like it's a bad thing. Sure, I will agree that over-taxation is a problem, but without taxes, we don't have a civil society. I bet that MS loves the local educated population. They love the fire departments that respond to emergencies. They call the police when some one breaks the law. They use the local courts to settle law-suits. You can game the system, and steal from the local population by not paying your fair share, you can pay up like a good citizen, or you can leave the state.

Or, we have the more intelligent kids teach the less intelligent ones. I forget what country this is done in, but the teacher will explain the topic, if the kid understands it, he/she stand up. When enough kids are standing, they form groups, and start to teach the kids sitting down. The teacher walks from group to group to make sure everything is going well. The lesson is finished when all the kids are standing. This gives the intelligent kids less time to be bored and helps the slower kids learn with direct interaction. The kids can always call over the teacher if a question comes up that they can't answer.
