Submission + - Books on history of the computer industry?

AceCaseOR writes: "I'm a big fan of books on the history of computing, and on the computer industry, the software industry and the video/computer game industry. I've read "In the beginning there was the Command Line", I've read the "Ultimate History of Video Games", I've read the biography of Bill Gates that was written about the time that either Windows 95 or Windows 98 came out, "The Cuckoo's Egg", and I've read "Masters of Doom". I liked the last four, and I'm ambivilant on the first one. So, I'm looking for reccomendations for other books to read. I've also read other books besides those, but the titles don't stick out in my head right now.

So, I'm looking for my next book on the history of the computer industry to read, and I'm looking for reccomendations. I'd prefer something that's written from a neutral viewpoint, rather then something written by an author with an axe to grind against Microsoft/Apple/IBM/whoever. I'd also prefer a book written from more of an outside perspective, rather then a participant's eye view (like "21 Dog Years" - which is a good book, but not what I'm looking for right now). So, what books on this topic would /.ers reccomend?
