Journal Journal: Oh lookit I have a journal
Hm, another online journal. Another entry in the Jerry Springer story of America. There's a reason I don't have a LiveJournal, it's because to me a journal is a personal record of my being, and not something to throw up on a site for all the world to see.
I've seen bunches of herd mentality crap in the LJ community, and juvinile political games. I've seen enough to secure my conviction that they really are attention getting games, for better or worse, and that's not me. I'm happy enough posting opinions on boards & lists & the like, things that I feel are OK for public or semi-public consumption. But my insides? Nuh uh.
So, at some point I may use this thing as a geek log type thing, posting my techie hopes, dreams & aspirations. Like talking about the 64 bit memory-directly-off-the-CPU motherboard I'm drooling over and want to get come springtime. But for my personal thoughts? I'll keep those to a traditional pen & paper with key or text document with password.

P.S. After previewing my first entry, I realize that this would be a great opportunity to practice basic, raw HTML code.
