I have a BofA credit card in California.
I went to Seattle for the weekend and BofA blocked my credit card.
BofA is terrible.
I'm going to Europe in a few days. I called them to tell them I'm traveling. I don't have high expectations that they won't block my card again. I have other cards.

OK. I know nothing about 3D scanners but the subject of TFA and the others mentioned here all seem to be just stereo image capture. These might be useful for something but certainly not for duplicating the object in a 3D printer.
To me, real 3D captures an object from all sides... a 360 degree sphere. These 3D cameras just capture one side view and try to calculate depth of that side from stereopsis.
So... beyond making slides for my View-Master, what good it this?

This is a common misconception.
You clearly believe in the "save your money and you'll get rich" myth. This doesn't work. You can't legitimately earn enough money to get rich.
Rich people become/remain wealthy by figuring out some scam where they collect large amounts of money from other people. Most of these schemes fall under a "business" category although some inherit money.
Rich people are notorious for wasting money on useless stuff. They don't care if they waste money. They have lots and more is coming in every day from the suckers who are stuck overpaying for whatever monopoly goods and services they have set up as their scam.

Rich people's problems.
Dude, it's an expensive car.
Bend over and take it like a man.
You are overpaying for an expensive status symbol. So, the more you overpay, the more status. You can complain to all of your other rich friends how much you overpaid for the car. Just think, you'll be the envy of your friends when they find out that you paid $108,000 for a $90,000 car. Dude, you the man.

Asshole is not really very specific. Actually, I think they are greedy entitled bastards.
I'm sure they are nice to you in person. Of course, that doesn't say anything about what they really think of you.
It's just that to get and keep large amounts of money requires a greedy, entitled mindset and their behaviour towards the peasants is usually focused on extracting money from them or denigrating them as lazy, etc.
Occasionally, they will undertake "charity" with a small part of their wealth. These are usually projects which stroke their ego such as the "arts" or church or some pet project. They would never give away enough of their wealth to cause them any discomfort. They always choose "deserving" recipients who share their values.
