I thought the main limiting factor of lifting mass to space was also having to carry the fuel with you? SpaceX hauls its fuel to get to space and even extra fuel to land. How are they able to afford to lift the extra mass? Are their engines that much more efficient? I'll stop with the questions marks ;)

Is there even a market for movies pirated using a Google glass? Seems like it would be one of the most shaky, poor quality videos in existence. I've seen some actual "cam" movies before and even those were very difficult to watch. I'm thinking the only loss in profits they're going to be seeing from Google glass users is that a lot of them will no longer come to see movies in theaters

Exactly. I use chrome, youtube, maps, and text messaging at least 5x more than I use the actual phone app. My note2 is a little awkward to hold to me ear but, like I said, I'm rarely using the phone. These days, the phone feature is just an app that comes in handy sometimes vs the primary mode of operation.

I hope a V2V API is released, I would love to create an app that hops ahead from car to car and reports back the average speed and brake usage of 10 cars 3 miles ahead of me. Real time traffic congestion avoidance would actually be possible. It would also be cool to know that a car 3 ahead of me has just slammed on their breaks (animal/obstacle in the road etc). All kinds of things come to mind.

It's fun and can be informative if you know what you're looking for. Try to stay late and leave a few days after interactive is over so you can experience part of the music festival. The whole deal can be overwhelming however.

It's well known that cheap android phones have always been bad, and will always be bad. If you want a cheap, reliable phone, Nokia is more than willing to sell you one of its lower end Lumias. And if you want to have a contract, you can even get a high quality iPhone for "free". Why waste time with bottom of the barrel junk?

I had to get a Windows 8 laptop, Surface 2, and Windows phone for work to test an application we're working on. I use OSX and Android day-to-day so from all the stories I expected to have an awful time trying to navigate through windows to even get to the application to start my testing/dev work but I don't see what the big deal is. The interface was intuitive enough for me ...maybe i didn't try to do enough, I just looked at the screen for the app, then click/touch it. :shrug:

I do. I work for a small company and we write all of our tablet apps in JavaScript and wrap them in Cordova. It lets us deploy on iOS, Android, and Windows all at once with minimal effort and cost, which is great for a small dev team. It even makes testing a breeze because I can write all of my functional tests in CasperJS and be reasonably sure that everything is working right prior to handing things off to the test team. Much easier than messing with some junk software like Appium and and writing tests for each mobile platform individually

if i had mod-points i'd give them to you. I wish more people realized that you don't have to be terrified of a gun. I live in Texas and no one seems to care about guns, not here in Dallas, not in Austin, not out West or anywhere. It's just not that big of a deal. Folks you don't have to live in fear, it must be exhausting to have to constantly worry about whether or not everyone you see owns a rifle.
