'collides' is one of the more misleading parts - Basically the wing tip bumped into a wood bumper designed for boats, and damaged some protective foam on the space craft's wingtip. FTA- "caused the rub panel foam protective layer of the wingtip of Enterprise to graze the protective wood piling bumpers in the water designed to bumper vessels"

He sounds like he just doesn't understand how this works, He seems to think a $22,000 router would somehow faster or better than a $500 router even if only 4 people are connected to for basic web browsing. FTA: Gianato said putting the same size router in every school was about "equal opportunity." "We wanted to make sure a student in McDowell County had the same opportunities as a student in Kanawha County or anywhere else," he said. "A student in a school of 200 students should have the same opportunity as a student in a school with 2,000 students."

My Oldsmobile Alero had a cup holder right in front of the gear shift - if you put anything larger than a small 12oz cup in it you'd either crush it when you tried putting the vehicle into park or not get that far and end up with your vehicle in reverse. The cup holders in the back seat were semi circle shaped with little rubber flaps that were supposed to hold the cup - they didn't. I don't understand how anyone at GM could have though this was a good idea, but somehow they decided to design it this way anyway. Thinking back, I'm amazed it took as long as it did for GM to go bankrupt.

Have you tried your e-brake for this? A lot of cars with rear drum brakes can barely stop the car at idle let alone full throttle with the e-brake - I've seen people drive around with their e-brake on for several minutes before noticing they forgot to disengage it. Additionally a reasonable percentage of vehicles have a pedal type e-brake which would be even harder for a passenger to reach than the normal brake.

That's like saying driving to work and walking to work are both dangerous, I'd better be a hermit. It would be great to be absolutely safe in every way, but it just isn't realistic. Our world is a dangerous place out to get you and there isn't any way you can avoid all danger, all you can do (and do dozens of times each day) is use reasoning to pick the least dangerous options available.

You can download nice drivers for most printers from their website too that are just the basic driver. I never ever open those cd's they send with the printer anymore, even if you try using device manager to install the drivers off the CD it ends up running an installer and loading a whole slew of stuff.
