Well, don't you think he SHOULD be able to wear his gold jewelry out in public? Why should he be afraid to so?

You're argument sounds rather similar to blaming a young woman out on the town for the night, wearing a short skirt and blaming her for getting sexually assaulted.

That said, I think your cousin was unwise, but I think calling him 'fucking stupid' puts the focus and blame on him, instead of the pieces of excrement who assaulted and robbed him -- because they couldn't bother to earn the money for themselves and would rather prey on people.

Point is this -- you don't truly NEED to call Joe do you, do you? No. The only call you ever might NEED to make is a 911 call.

And that's the problem, using running late, or I 'really need to call so and so', or not knowing where you're going as an excuse for being distracted, and putting the rest of us at risk.

I drive my young daughter to school every morning (and I live in city with a lot of traffic/gridlock), and it pisses me off to no fucking end the number of people fucking around with their phone for some 'important' thing. The only important thing you NEED to do when driving is having your fucking hands on the wheel and your eyes AND attention on the road. Period, justify or excuse all you want, but you and I both know that's the truth.

If you can't get you shit together in time in the morning, then get up 30 minutes earlier, this so called 'pressure' you talk about is self-induced. Try getting a 5 year old ready for school, I get up 1.5 hrs before I need to leave so that I have everything ready and I can leave on time and be focused on driving.

HIPAA applies to doctors, insurance companies etc in their handling of your medical information -- people can volunteer their own personal medical information, nothing to do with HIPAA. Now, why anyone would trust anything like that to FB.... I had no idea.

I live in a city with a good team with a decent fan base -- BUT we usually hear on the local news about the looming blackout threat most weekends.

Personally, I'm like 'Fine, whatever... no better way to lose MORE fans than by preventing your local supporters from seeing the game'.

Plus, maybe I'm a cheapo, but I consider the tickets, parking, food, etc. just too d-mn expensive to make it worth seeing it live. If they made the games more affordable for a family, maybe they'd have better luck filling seats.

[As an aside, I'm a bit disillusioned with the NFL these days, especially protecting some crapastic people like Rice & Peterson among others, so I don't really care if the NFL struggles or not]
