Dell still sells a bunch of them. Even the ones who put 8.1 on there by default offer downgrade rights to 7. That's fine with IT folks, since they usually reimage the systems before then hand them out to users.

Seriously, who puts Windows 8.1 on a business workstation?!? I don't know of any businesses in my area who've "upgraded" from Windows 7 to 8 or 8.1, because they don't want to retrain their employees on how to use Windows. We're all waiting for Windows 10, where Microsoft finally came to their senses and made using that horrible Start screen and Charms Bar optional.

I'll bet that garbage collection could eventually be done by a self driving truck with an automated garbage can lift.

A lot of cashier jobs are already getting replaced with self check-out systems as well.

I'm thinking that politics is a pretty safe field to get into, since those jobs are geofenced by law. I'll bet that Dentistry is a pretty safe field as well.

XP only supported IE6 through IE8. That's kind of weak considering that it was supported by Microsoft for over a decade.

They make an add on connector called a Snuglet that fixes the issue with the Magsafe 2 port being too loose.

For a consumer electronics product? That's pretty damn good. Most tablets and smartphones seem to get updated yearly, and the old model disappears once the stock runs out.

I don't know about unusable, but I've had a lot more problems with applications force quitting on their own because the tablet ran out of memory. The Lollipop build on the "new" 2013 Nexus 7 has a nasty memory leak that causes to OS to take over a Gig of memory at times.

The sad thing is that there still are not many Android tablets out there with the build quality of an iPad Air 2. The Android tablet manufacturers like Asus, Dell, and Samsung seem to focus more on lower price tablets than higher quality.

I'd dare to say that Microsoft did a better job of making a competitive premium product to the iPad Air with their Surface and Surface Pro products. That might sound odd coming from someone who actually has an Nexus 7 and likes it. It's a nice tablet, but it's no iPad killer.

I have the same problem with my WiFi at home when I try to launch the Pandora app. I'm not sure if it's the Pandora app or the iPhone 6 that causes the issue.

Yeah, I think that we can think Mark Karpeles and Mt. Gox for single handedly ruining the credibility of Bitcoin for thousands of users.

Sure, there are a few Bitcoin exchanges that are actually well run, but Mt Gox was the famous one during Bitcoin's peak.

That, and the ad blocker software for Mobile isn't as good, so you have less people blocking ads on that platform.

You get more accurate location information on a mobile platform thanks to the GPS sensor on the phone/tablet, allowing you to geo target your ads better.

It seems that Google is less of a search company now, and more of an ad company who dabbles in other areas that bring them ad viewers.
