but yeah, they're minicab companies, but... is it illegal for the minicabs say in london to pick up two passangers from different locations and drive them at the same time to another city and drop them off at different locations and charge them different fares as if they were individual customers? the reason cab companies didn't fight these call-by-phone-only companies(not just uk, same in finland) was that it's not so easy as using an app to see if there's a ride nearby.

also, is this california law for protection of busses and metro area public transport monopolies or what?

battery life? about the same. it's about the same thing after all. it's 600 bucks + device and marketed partially with having a faster cpu so that's why you should as a consumer care if it's that much faster or not, because you can buy similar devices that play same kind of games, has about the same kind of screen, connects to all the same social networks, has about the same battery life but has one third of the price.

btw the usual way to run factories a 100 years ago was on "100%" (or over 100% if you count out the extra..). the papermills etc were usually built so that they had an included hydro plant. last time i got an update the old, old hydro dam at my hometowns powerplant was only providing for lightning though. the old textile plant in the bigger city near my hometown was the first place to have electric lights(iirc in all of nordic).. and those were from hydro. to run the textile mill when it was dark with smaller risk of fires..

otherwise they wouldn't need to give a hoot if people worldwide were viewing their stuff, but if they let everyone in say Finland view the bbc feeds on iplayer how the fuck would they sell their content to the Finnish broadcasting company or the Finnish commercial channels? they wouldn't, so they do this to protect that revenue stream just like any other commercial company.

has not had to concern itself with Russian imperialism?? what the fuck! the entire Finnish foreign policy is only about how to keep Russia or earlier USSR out of Finland while at the same time doing trade with them to keep butter on Finnish tables. St. Petersburg is like a 3 hour train ride from Helsinki(+border formalities which add quite a bit). the entire if to join nato or not to join nato is about tiptoeing with the Russian bear - can't live without it and can't live with it. the entire Finnish defense policy is basically built around the fact that Finland could be invaded so fast, that it's better to teach everyone(man) how to shoot, so it would turn into Afghanistan^2 - but we really would rather be peaceniks.

point being, Finland is an ex-region of the Russian Empire(which had certain level of autonomy within the Empire) which according to some theory was let to gain independence only because Lenin thought it would join USSR anyways. However, using the same tactic to take over Finland that Putin used for Crimea and is trying in Eastern Ukraine now would never ever work for Finland. And it would ruin the value of the Russian oligarchs summer houses too... the whole Russia-Ukraine situation is affecting life very much on the street level of many people in Finland though, since it's banning some exports into Russia and there's significant trade between the two - and of course Finland has had to appease to american empires wishes too, which has cost plenty of good trade dealings with Russia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M... ,Finland threatened with sanctions over providing tech to Russia)
