I see a business opportunity in installing aftermarket ignition kill switches.

The main thing I like about an actual IGNITION SWITCH vs. some sort of software controlled engine start/stop button is the ability to actually turn the engine off without any software in the loop. Guess that's something I'll have to retrofit into my future cars.

I was BEGGING for this service a few years back when I was spending extended periods at sea. I'm sure anybody who goes on extended overseas trips would love it.

This. The NPR article seems misleading. They stopped him based on the 911 call. Which seems reasonable to me. If some moron is driving like a fool I'd really like to cops to stop him. Obamacare subsidies are based on your MAGI, which is your AGI with some other income that only rich people have added back (dividends?), so for most people it's your AGI. AGI is your gross income minus business expenses and some other things (but not taxes, including self employment taxes). It's all on page 1 of form 1040.
