EVERYONE IS THE SAME.

There are NO differences, everyone is the same, same abilities both learned and genetic.

All white men can jump high and are as good a basketball players as any other race.

Every oriental person is a good driver.

Most men don't have some sort of sexual related thought any time they see an attractive woman.

Italians never gesture when they talk.

All women are excited about and excel at IT work.

Black men do not commit a disproportional amount of violent crime in the US.

There are not a lot of Jewish people in the entertainment industry.

Muslims do not represent the majority of modern day terrorists.

You are wrong to have any opinions of any person regardless of sex, race or religion that say by and large they have traits that are easily pointed out.

Persecute all that dare say or even think such thoughts.

*WHEW*....and now that that is out of the way, the world will live in peace and harmony, and no one will ever have self esteem issues again, and God forbid they get offended.

Oops...sorry, I mentioned God...I guess I broke my own rule and offended someone.

Wow...no sense of humor man.

That's the trouble with political correctness...always the chance of something being said.

I feel sad...Richard Pryor and George Carlin likely wouldn't have existed and succeeded today. They didn't use "PC" language or concepts.

At least in Canada I know what I'm buying then. I get X GB per month, and there is (at least in my area) 3 different ISPs (1 cable, one DSL, and one independent) that I can go to. I go to the one that gives me more bandwidth, higher caps at a lower price (duh). It's $48/month for 300 GB, and there's an unlimited package for about $60, but we just don't seem to ever break that cap. (We came close once but reduced it by lowering the bandwidth settings on my wife's Netflix profile :)

It sounds like you are only talking about your cell phone data usage?

I thought this was for broadband in general. I have a "business" account at home, have for years. Is like $70/mo....unlimited, no caps and they are actually pretty quick to react when I have the rare problem. I mean, they had a guy on the pole one night at 11pm about 30 min after I called...to fix the problem.

Do that many people run into caps on home internet accounts?

I have several computers on here at home 24/7/365...I'm constantly streaming stuff...etc. I have no idea how much data I use, but I have guess it is FAR north of 300GB/mo.

I don't think the majority if Americans want Federal Govt. run healthcare. You still see that in the polls today.

Well, in the US, rather than tons of red tape, bureaucracy, and regulations...how about simple rules one at a time as needed.

1. You can't price based on traffic..all traffic is treated the same.

Of course...you can flesh this out a bit, to allow for fixing traffic problems, etc...but keep it simple. Make it a law we can ALL read and tweak as needed with time.

We don't need 2000 pages for this...

Researchers Use DNA To Record a Cell's Life History 48

sciencehabit writes If cells could talk, they'd have quite a story to tell: Their life history would include what molecules they'd seen passing by, which signals they'd sent to neighbors, and how they'd grown and changed. Researchers haven't quite given cells a voice, but they have now furnished them with a memory of sorts—one that's designed to record bits of their life history over the span of several weeks. The new method uses strands of DNA to store the data in a way that scientists can then read. Eventually, it could turn cells into environmental sensors, enabling them to report on their exposure to particular chemicals, among other applications.

Well, to be fair...these are not two mutually exclusive concepts.

Dismantling Obamacare would be a step towards shrinking the size of govt and its influence over our everyday lives. That is the most recent intrusion.

That being said, Obama won't sign anything repealing it totally, but they can nip at parts of it, and threaten to defund much of it unless he signs some reforms to it...etc.
